You Grew up in Phoenix in the 1980's if...

Got this from a friend and it cracks me up!! Only those of you from AZ would truly get the humor in all of them... I deleted some of them and just put my favs up... Enjoy!
You grew up in the 80s in Phoenix if you...
1) Would have done anything for a Ladmo bag. -- I went on the show as a Brownie but didn't win. :(
Tried to fry an egg on the sidewalk.
Can still remember the words to the hepatitis song. -- I CAN SING IT!!!!
Remember KZZP.
Get irritated when people say "yeah, but it's a dry heat."
Know what it feels like to come out of an icy cold movie theater into 110 degree heat - I still know that feeling and love it!
Know what "tubing" means.
Have a T-shirt that says "I survived the hottest day in Phoenix history" referring to that summer day in 1990 when it got up to 122 degree in the shade. -- We were actually on vacation in Florida so we missed this day!
Consider yourself a "Zonie."
Ever put Christmas lights on a cactus.
Burnt the bottom of your feet running out to get the mail because you were too lazy to put on shoes. -- TOTALLY! We'd run from grass to shade and back...never thought to actually put on shoes though!
Enjoyed making song requests at Organ Stop Pizza.
Got in trouble for leaving crayons in the back seat of the car. --Now my kids get in trouble for this!
Your heroes were Kevin Johnson (KJ), Mark West, and Tom Chambers.
Had to pay full replacement price for the rented VCR tape you left in your car.
Shopped at Goldwaters, Broadway Southwest, Federated or Diamonds. -- AND Millers Outpost!Remember Dave Pratt the Morning Mayor on 98 KUPD.
Cried when Wallace and Ladmo went off the air.
Went to Pistol Pete's pizza and ShowBiz pizza
Remember Gemco -- LOVED IT!
Remember the Madhouse on Macdowell (Purple Palace )
Remember Suns Fever
Recall Thunder Dan
Did the hokey pokey at Skateland
Cruised Central, Metro or Mill Avenue .
Remember only TWO freeways either the I-10 or I-17... and the 60 stopped before Val Vista...
Remember who Rose Mofford or Evan Mecham is.
Know what Price Club is (and when there was only 1). -- I still call it Price Club and people have no clue what I mean!
Went to Legend City or Compton Terrace.
Know what Yellow Front, Lucky's, Smittys, AJ Bayless are.
Went boogie boarding on irrigation day. -- We actually played in it! YUCK! Seems so gross now!
Were ever excited about your appearance on "Pets on Parade." -- Still know the theme song for it!
Thought Big Surf was Rad!
Remember the Dr. Demento show on KZZP every Sunday night.
Locking your car doors as soon as you got south of Bethany Home .
Didn't go to the park until AFTER dark.
Knew not to shoot at a Saguaro because it could fall over on you and kill you. -- LOL! SO TRUE!Thought Flagstaff was REALLY cold.
Always saw at least 10 people you knew on Mission Beach (San Diego) -- yep, at Sea World! Knew who worked on Van Buren.
Remember when Buckeye was BFE -- Isn't it STILL?!
Wore jellies in the summer even though you had really bad feet sweat.
Remember when Ahwatukee was a retirement community half way to Tucson .
Remember the orange trees planted all the way down the middle of Black Canyon Freeway (Now called I-17).
Remember when Sun City wasn't connected to the rest of the valley?
Going to slide rock in Sedona and hoping it wasn't closed due to high levels of bacteria in the water!
Remember when Terminal 2 was the only passenger terminal at Sky Harbor and you had to walk on the tarmac.
Celebrated a birthday at Ed Debevick's
Thought Bobby McGee's was the coolest restaurant ever
Ever got attacked by a jumping cactus
Know what to do when you hear a rattle in the desert.
Witnessed the shock when the "art" on the 51 when installed. (Referring to the lovely toilet and large silver sphere.)
Had the bell rung for their birthday at Farrell's
Remember Dewey Hopper-the weather guy who always wore school t-shirts

That's fantastic! It's my childhood all in bullet point. It was soo good that I'll let it go that you had a 90's reference in your "You Grew up in Phoenix in the 1980's if.."
